My daughter and I purchased two sets of these slippers to cushion our feet when walking on the new hardwood floor in our kitchen, however, the sole is totally flat (no cushioning whatsoever). We wanted these slippers because it was summer and we liked that they were light and wouldn't make our feet sweat, but they are of no use to us. They may make a good slipper for someone with carpeted flooring.
